I have Hayes HFX9 XC brakes and while I was dirt jumping, I messed up a landing and crashed. I bent the front brake lever pretty severly, which is a result of it ripping my shorts open and slamming on the ground. Does anyone know how to get replacement levers? Thanks. I'll try to attatch a picture.

most bike shops can order one for you, or even the online shops will have them. i first would just remove it and try and straighten it in a vice or on a bench with a hammer, its aluminum so it should not take much to bend back, just don't over do it.

if you are going for replacements, looking into the bonzi ones, they have 1 and 2 finger levers which will be stronger, and look much more pimp.

If you can't straighten it yourself, I'd look for a used one. I'm sure there are plenty of people with a pair of hayes brakes with everything broken except the handlebar. You may even find one for free on the forums, or at your LBS.

I did the same in a crash last night. I used a steel pipe to fix it while leaving the brake assembly on the bike. Just slide it over the lever and bend it back. I am sure there is some metal fatigue now but I don't expect any problems.

Thanks guys. I was able to bend it back, so it's pretty straight now.
