Here's your chance - 19" Homegrown in Bassboat Green. '98 frame bought used in November - right around the time I got bit by the 29er bug.
Ridden approx. 20 times ~ 40 hours.
Parts -
'03 Marathon SL air fork - rebuilt recently and only has my 20 rides on the rebuild. ECC, negative air adjustment and 100mm of travel. Great fork.
Front wheel is a new Surly hub laced to the old Mavic X223 rim. 3X lacing, DT 14g straightguage spokes, handbuilt and a sweet hub. Old LX skewer.
Rear wheel is an older XT hub laced to a Mavic 217 ceramic, handbuilt years ago and used sparingly over the years. Crossmax skewer.

Saddle new WTB speed V
HS - the original WTB greaseguard that came with it. I spent a ton of time getting into pretty good shape. Removed it and cleaned out the HT as well.
Cranks NOS, never even ridden LX 5 bolt with a QBP (salsa) 36t rampless ring
Chain - Shimano 8 spd
Cog - 20t shimano cog
BB - Un72 or Un52 I can't remember
I have an old ground down 5 bolt 42t big ring if you'd like a guard.
Tensioner is an old XTR rear der.
Brakes are a Deore rear "v" brake and an older XT front V brake.
Avid Speed dial Ti levers.
ODI lock on grips on a Ritchey SC rizer bar - nice and wide.
Race Face prodigy stem (110mm)
I built it as a comfortable all day XC singlespeed and it functions well in that role. It's also great to just go rip around local trails. The set up is upright with plenty of leverage for climbing and the fork allows you to lock it down at around 80mm for longer climbing. Not sure on the weight but those tires ain't light. Probably a 25 lb bike, or less, with some lighter tires - many of the parts on the bike could be upgraded for lighter parts easily (bar, stem etc.). The frame is in good shape - plenty of the normal signs of wear and the previous owner obviously rode it a bunch, and had a trunk rack as there are some telltale scratches. One small dent on the underside of the downtube as well. I've got plenty of 26er tires if you'd like something less beefy than the 2.4 WTBs - or take all my 26er tires (Panaracer Fire XC pro, some Wildgrippers a Bontrager etc.)
I might even be talked into selling my used (1 full winter season - 2 seasons with about 3 rides) Nokian studded tires as well, who knows.
Looking for $450 (with all the 26er tires) - $500 with the studded tires as well.
PM here if you're interested.
Thanks,
Brendan
