When I hit the gym these days, I have been listening to podcasts instead of music. My favorites at this time are:

-Slashdot Review (http://slashdotreview.com//)
-Fredcast Cycling (http://www.thefredcast.com/)
-MacGeek Gab (http://www.macobserver.com/podcast/)
-World Cup Cast (http://thepremiershippodcast.com/worldcup/)
-Infection Podcast Novel (http://scottsigler.podshow.com/)

There are more, but these are the most listened to at this point.

Special note on the last one - Infection - the third podcast novel by Scott Sigler. I highly recommend these pod novels. His first two (Earthcore and Ancestor) were awesome. I am not sure that Infection is his best, but it is only about half way, so I will reserve judgement.

Any one else have any favorites or recommendations...

http://www.gearnoise.com/ is a little on the basic side, but I like the variety and laid back southern Californian feel.

NPR's "all songs considered" is the only podcast I listen to. Its a good mix of all kinds of music.

The Free Beer and Hot Wings Morning show
can be heard on the hawk from 530-9. The show is actually broadcast out of grand rapids mich. The show REALLY runs until 10 and blows the morning lame (buzz) out of the water ;D

Any of the NPR stuff. On Point with Tom Ashbrook is particularly good. Or if you're in the mood for something a bit lighter, try audiocrush (http://audiocrush.us) They're local (JP based, I believe) and entertaining as all hell. I've laughed out loud on the T or while walking down the sidewalk on at least a couple of occasions.
