View Full Version : Ft. Rock-Drying but...

I pushed the rig around part of the Oaklands (North of 101) side of Ft. Rock last night. Although things are drying out, there are still a few parts of the trail that are flooded out. It was actually very dry in a couple of places, but for the most part soft & muddy. At least one trail section that previously ran near a water bog is still completely submerged and requires a dismount/walk around.
I'm going to let it dry out for another few days before heading back out. Has anyone checked out the Henderson-Swasey side near the trestle this week?

Finally got out there for a lil bit today, on the Henderson-Swasey side (south of 101).
Trails are in great shape, few wet spots, but no show stoppers.
Get out and ride!

The new logging road is almost done.
Runs parallel to the pipeline.

Done! I got out again over the weekend and had a run over that bridge. It feels a bit more rickety at the low point (distant 'dip' in picture) than I remember, but it's smooth sailing on a new rig:)
If the weather holds I'm heading out for a quick one after work today.
