Sunday Ride...

Nice ride at Case yesterday. A few small spots of mud to walk around/through and the streams were running strong, but trails were in great shape - we stayed away from the low spots by the fern trail and the metal bridge...

Slider took a wicked digger off a relatively large ramp rock off the side of the trail. I wonder if that shiner materialized - it sure looked like one was forming by the time we got to the cars.

Yeah, it looks like I caught a left hook, but my shoulder hurts more than the eye.

I hit that ramp unintentionally, BTW. I'd been slaloming at speed around a tree, caught my elbow just enough to change my line, and there was the rock right in front of me. Nothing I could do but hit the jump, in about as bad a position as possible. The ramp was steep enough so that the front end dived when the rear wheel hit it, since my weight was way far forward, and I was planted before I knew what happened.

If it couldn't happen, the sport would suck. ;D
