Awesome! So how did you handle it? Did you pick it out or did you go together to check out new bikes? Either way, looks like she's very happy! Congrats on the new ride!

I bought it and we surprised her with it this morning. She didn't know what to say, it was a great moment. I offered her the opportunity to head down to the LBS to try out a Men's medium, she said "NO WAY!"... got to love that!

I guess, this time, you are off the hook for bailing on our Sunday ride. >:(

But you only get one bye per year. ;D

She fits the bike perfectly, BTW.

That's got to be worth many points. Father's Day should be a good time for you. :)
She certainly looks "pleased as punch"

You know, this is the first weekend without a "real" ride since I don't know when, maybe last winter? I hope to get out, if even on the road tomorrow morning. Doesn't look like the rain is going to let up a anytime soon...

Very nice bike - nothing like one that fits! I spent some time and $$ putting together a bike for my wife a couple of years ago - she's not very tall, and it took some effort to find a frame that would be OK for her, and to get the components set up right - the cable routing, in particular, can be a challenge on these little frames.

My wife isn't into the technical side of things and didn't really realize the work involved, but at one of the NEMBA events, one of the women working the desk (none too tall herself) noticed my wife's bike and how well it fit her - I thought it was pretty cool.
