Just want to give you a heads up about the up coming SC NH chapter Yudicky trail day in Nashua on Sunday May 21st.

The plan: to cut more Barbwire single track goodness! :D

The chapter has most of the tools needed, but if someone has a chain saw they could bring, that would be great.

I'll be sending out all the details in a couple of days.

See you on the 21st!

I'll be there just let me know the details. How did the trail work with the pallets and corduroy work out? I haven't had a chance to ride with the combination of rain and college craziness.

Hi All,
As part of the Jamis Bicycles / NEMBA NH Trail Care Series....

On Sunday, May 21, 2006, South Central NH NEMBA will be cutting a new section of single track in Yudicky! :D

Another awesome addition to the Barbwire series. (We'll call it the Second Cousin, Once Removed Barbwire Trail)

This new section of trail is not very long, so we should be able to cut it in a couple of hours.
And, since we are already there with all the tools, maybe we can head down Son of Barbwire, cut out a big blow down and straighten that section of trail too.

Day: Sunday May 21
Meet time: 9 am
Meet place: back entrance to Yudicky, off of Gilson Rd (directions below)
Bring: work clothes, bug spray, water, your bike & gear*
The chapter will provide the tools.

Directions:
Take exit 5w off the highway, rt3 in Nashua.
Turn onto rte 111a west/Main Dunstable Rd.
Go through three sets of lights.
From the last set of lights (at the intersection with North Eastern Blvd) head
straight down rte 111 a west for approximately 2 miles. Turn right onto Gilson
Rd.
We will be meeting on the side of the Gilson Rd, right past the Tanglewood
Estates. You’ll have to park on the side of the road, pull over as far as you
can.

*It is traditional to have a ride after the trail work and that is still the plan, but the Fireball trail may still be too wet to ride.

Hope to see you there!

It worked out pretty good.

Under a sunny blue sky we cut the latest addition to the Barbwire Trail series. A short, but sweet & flowy trail. :)

A big ol' thank you to Michele, me, Scott, Steve L., Chad, Jeff, Harry, Dan, Mike, Steve A. and George (not pictured).

As you can see, we did ride, but not on Fireball or Twisted Sister. They are very wet & muddy. :P
