He is outgrowing his current bike fast! We need a decent upgrade since we ride almost daily. Will pay fair price - like to keep it around $75.00 +/-. We are in southern NH - NE MA area. Thank you.

He's about 4' tall and currently riding a Mongoose (Wal Mart). Now that we know we all LOVE it I want to get him a higher quality, longer lasting (and bigger) bike.

If he is really 4' tall I have a 20" Giant MTX125 that I am selling for $50. It is a few years old but in very good shape.
But... if he can do it I think I would recommend trying to find a 24" bike. We just went through this with our 6 and 8 year old. My 6 yr old is 4' and just moved to the 20", and my 8yr old is about 6 inches taller and just started on the 24" and really likes it.
A good place to keep an eye on is craigslist, that is where I bought the last 20" bikes for under $100.
Glad you all like it so much!! Happy riding.

I've got a Gary Fisher 24" listed here for $125. Pretty sure it would fit him as my guy was 9 when HE got it. I can't got below $100 though.

Thank you ALL for your replies! We found him a (very lightly) used 24" Jamis. See you on the trails!
(oh - and he's closer to 4'6" - WOW they grow fast :)).

hmm... great. Thanks! Looks like I'll be posting another wanted ad then. Perhaps yours will have outgrown another one?
