Rocky woods / Noanet woodlands/ Hale reservation

Its thursday Night, so that means ride night.

Well I had a Dental Appoint ment today at 4:00 im Medfield, well that means only one thing to do , first we go over to our friends at Town and Country Bicycles , which is closing and has 25% off every thing ( they are retiring ). I got a tube and a fanny pack. but we also Park in there parking lot. no problem. As berkshire rider as hucking off the bike shops wall, the owner says to him, just rember no claims against my insurance , you fall ,I'll bury you in the basement , Steve hit it again :)

so we take off from Medfield center and went down the road a bit to a trail head. as soon as we got in ther ewas a Table top ( litterally ) bridge going across the creek. SloMoJo fell in, and I missed it. but here he is doing on the 2nd try

in rocky woods , while berkshire rider was changing a flat , On a bridge that actually crosses a pond.

now we are into Hale reservation and this is a New trail we just cut 2 weeks ago

I love the Thursday night rides. I just wish the hammer fest wouldn't start at the 10 mile mark.

Glad to provide the entertainment on that ride, buddy.
Falling into a smelly muddy stream is a fricken riot ... unless you're the one in the slop of course. ;)

Looking at that pic ... I still wonder how the hell I fell off that. It looks like a barn door. That's not how I remember it. Anyway ... all in good fun.

Nice shots. I gotta get back up to MA sometime. About taking an unintentional dip during a ride...

I met a cute nurse, while I was between marriages, who helped a doctor stitch me up after a fall on a trail ride. We got talking about bikes, and I offered to show her around Cutler Park. Cool, I had my first post-divorce date.

There's a little bridge there just as you enter some single track. She hesitated while crossing it, did an air dab, and fell head first into the river. She was stuck, with her head fully immersed. I guess she might have drowned if I wasn't there. And it looked really funny. At least I thought so.

I couldn't stop laughing. I'm laughing now just picturing it, maybe partly because, in retrospect, she had every right to get really mad and never see me again.

Sometimes, you can't help but laugh no matter the consequences. Glad you got a sense of humor about it, SloMo.

I am left wanting,...... and wondering.

Which is more probable? That splat actually missed a fall in the river shot, or that he has the pics and has opted not to share them out of kindness to his friend?
