My son has a field trip to Beaver Brook next week and I might have some time afterward to bike here but I wasn't sure if it is worth it? Looked like a lot of the trails are hiking only and some wide stuff but figured it is worth asking.
So what type of trails are here?? Compared with maybe hitting Yudicky on the way home if I have time....

Thanks
Mike

Bring your bike, you'll get in a nice ride while you son is doing his field trip thing.
It's not anything like Yudicky being that bikes are restricted to the multi-use double track trails, but what you can ride is is good fun. There is a little bit of climbing, and some nice stretches of downhill.

Some of the multi use trails end up on roads, so print the map off of of the Beaver Brook Assoc web site so you can do the loops and don't waste you time back tracking.

Make sure you go down Smith Rd, it's a lot more fun down than up!

If you cross over Rt 130, the Old City Trail to Tupelo Trail to Mary Farley to Wood Duck Trail make a nice loop. There are some good rock gardens on Tupelo.

Thanks for the info. I will print up a map and give it a try. Can't make tomorrow at Yudicky unfortunately but hopefully will ride there sometime with you ...
