Has any one been to Great Brook State Park in Tewksbury? Thinking about it for tomorrow and wanted to know about the conditions.

Never heard of Great Brook in Tewksbury. There is a Great Brook state park in Carlisle though.

Great Brook Farm?
Which is a state park, has fun trails, on the border of Tewksbury, but MTBME is right that it is in Carlisle.
I'm going to guess that it is very muddy.

Yeah, it's Carlisle. Everthing past Haverhill kind of blends together for me.

Tried it last year during one of those hot and humid days. I found it challenging in some trails, overall a very well kept park and plan on going there again. It is in carlisle and I parked in a 2 dollar parking area. There is a machine there waiting for you to pay up. I have heard that some people found other areas to park for free. There is very good feedback section on trails on MTBR.com in the trails pull down section. There is also a section on this site under riding zone then click on mass.

Rick will be back next month. He's in New Zealand right now, touring the South Island via road bike and BoB trailer for 10 days. He toured Australia for 3 months, then flew to NZ in Mid-January. There's definitely lots of riding in store upon his return.
As for yesterday, we rode the Minuteman bikeway (26 miles round-trip) and then headed to the Bike Show which was pretty much the same as visiting your LBS except it cost $7 to get in. No good swag either. Then it was off to the Mid-West Grille in Cambridge for a total meat-fest.

We ride Great Brook a lot and it is very nice. We have found a few more interesting parts of trails and can string together6-8 miles pretty nicely with moderate challenges. In general it stays pretty dry. With rain coming this week it might be muddy so I wouldn't try it again just yet but it does dry up faster than a lot of areas.
