Went out for a ride today at lunch and found the trails to be in extremely good early season condition. Parked at Tri- River Med Center, road over Goat Hill into the Water Treatment plant and then across 122. The trails across the street were raked off late last year and are still very clear. The usual places were wet (but then again they are wet all summer as well). I did not ride the Ribbon Candy Section ( had to get back to work). But I would imagine they are in good shape as well. I will try to get out again on Friday, and update this post addordingly..

No trail map ( although some of the guys on this site us GPS and maybe they have one?) But the easy way to get to the Ribbon Candy trail via Plumbers Corner is to ride in on the main trail along the river bear right at the "Y" ( probably400 yards from the parking lot)intersection then keep an eye out on the left. If you hit the sand pits you've gone to far. If you are looking to ride some hills etc. ride the single track across the street from the waste water plant (rt 122). You can see the trail head right next to the guard rail. I think the loop is like 4 miles or so.

If your interested in a tour PM me, the weather this weekend is supposed to be pimp...

I think your "pimp" conditions this weekend are likely to be muddy with the impending rain then the above freezing temps this weekend. Best to keep off the trails so they are nice for the rest of the season.

thanks for the tips I think I saw the trailhead for ribbon candy but didn't take it, sounds like it (and the water-plant trails) will be worth checking out once it dries up.
