Selling my custom steel bike. It's a Rob Stowe built frame under the name Pig Iron for a shop in CT. It was made to mimic the Medium/Long Fat Chance geometry, built for Alan Tinti, if he is still around the area.
I got this a while back and havent used it much. Mostly as a loaner bike for guests. It's too small for me so I ride my other bikes. Selling to make room for a new ride.
LX V brakes/derailluers/rear wheel
XT levers/front wheel
suntour thumbies
King headset
gore ride-on cables
Marzocchi Z.2 fork in OK shape. it's pretty old but works fine.
also included is the original threaded fork and stem which are painted to match
1 1/8 headset and 27.2 post, so it is compatible with modern stuff.
looks at the pics. some paint chips which show a bit of rust. ride it as is or rehab it for an awesome ride.
available to NEMBA folks for pick-up only on cape cod for $400. I am really close to otis, so could meet you there. if i don't get that I will flog it on ebay after parting it out (king headset, thomson post, etc.). But I would like to see it go complete to someone who appreciates the history/etc.
