I'd like to get down for a ride myself on Saturday but don't know the place well enough to ride alone. Anyone else planning to be there or want to join me? I'd be coming down from the Worcester area and can offer a ride.

We are riding from the lot on 151 at Otis at 9:00am Saturday morning. Pretty much the same group you rode with last time. Would you be coming down 146? I would kick in some $$$ for gas money.

Everybody is welcome to join us.

One thing worth mentioning for anyone who is considering joining us - if you like to just go out and hammer for 3 hours without stopping, you may not have fun on our rides. We stop to play on features. Constantly. ;D

Shoot me an email or a PM, I live in Oxford and can hit 146 pretty quickly on my way out.

I'd like to. I just can't get Jisch to agree to the time investment and the long drive. DNA thinks it is too non-stunt oriented for him

Now, I love the place. Fast rules for me, and there's nothing more fun than a little slide during a high speed transition while slaloming among the pines. DNA wants to huck and ride elevated ramps and bridges.

So my question is this: Has Otis seen more stunts/ramps/huck sidetrails created since I last rode there three (or more!) years ago? Stories/Photos/remains of removed casts all might help me make the case. Once he's on board, Jisch will have a hard time resisting.

There are a lot of really nice well designed trails at Otis these days - the new stuff replaced a lot of the old eroding moto lines. These trails tend to utilize a lot of the rocks you'll find there so I guess it's become a free ride destination. Not my area of expertise but it looks pretty cool to me.

I'll be there tomorrow with MRS MTBTOM - it'll be 50+ degrees out so you gotta go for it. Drop me a PM if anyone wants to ride - this will be a 3 - 4 hour cough up a lung type ride as fast as I can spin a 34/19

If I see a bunch of guys in body armor I'll be sure to say 'hello'...oh yeah try not to land on me as I ride by. :)

It's worth the drive. A fun mix of rocks, fast sections, an ocassional stunt, and a couple of hill climbs. It's also snow-free, and that is a good thing. 8)
