Has anybody read the front page article in the Nashua Telegraph today about the yudicky land near lovewells pond. The article says the land may be developed on? I thought this was conservation land or protected wetlands.
Any other SCNH members have anymore information regarding this.

Yes, I saw that too.
We, SC NH nemba, had gone to the Conservation Commission last year to make sure that mtbing was allowed on conservation land, specifically the Lovewell Pond land. I was not aware that it was/is not totally protected, but with hindsight, I should have realized that anything is up for sale here in Nashua. ::)
The conservation land is not just the land around & above Lovewell Pond, it extends across Ridge Rd to Buckmeadow Rd. That part is sort of a disjointed piece of land, and that may be the piece that would be in danger. But as I said before, here in Nashua.....

I was planning on contacting my Alderman & City Hall and would suggest others do too. The City of Nashua web site has contact info:

click the link to the Board of Alderman that lists their contact info.

edit: meant to add that the land that is across rt 111a is not conservation land, it is a city park "South West Park" aka Yudicky. There were plans to put soccer fields & a covered sports field in there, but those plans or on indefinite hold, no money in the budget.
