FOMBA 15JAN06 (pics & clip)

After waking up to a blizzard yesterday AM and checking my email to see the scheduled Rock ride had fizzled, I decided to take the hound out for a spin closer to my home @ FOMBA. It was super fast on the fire roads, the singletrack was pretty challenging as there was wet snow under a thin layer of ice. It was fun getting "fresh tracks".

So, that was you and the hound that got out before I did....was wondering who that was. No cars in the lot when I got there around 10...you got out early. It was good riding...a bit tough on the choppy uphills keeping good traction. Should be pretty good a bit later today with a little help from the sun.

I attempted the Log Roll with one hand also, unfortunately I hit the power button at the bottom as I had it in my right hand (I didn't really want to go over the bars there)

Only about an inch or so. The forecast is a little uncertain, but I'd say if it gets cold next weekend the riding should be pretty good.

are you guys that are riding fomba running with studs or just low psi regular tires?
Perhaps a stupid question ???
