...Road ride.
Did just over 30, enocuntered a skunk on a backroad in Newton, NH, climbed Poe Hill (Rowell rd.) in Amesbury, great view, but lotsa developement, and got chased by a dog in South Hampton!
It is Friday the 13th, so I should consider myself lucky.
Hopefully the trails around here will be ride-able by the weekend.
I take it since there are no posts in the G.D. forum at almost 3pm, that everyone got out and rode.
Let's hear about 'em.

I work from home, all my bikes are just sitting there in the garage, but I find I rarely get out to ride at lunch anymore. When I worked in an office and had to bring all my stuff to work to ride, I'd get out at least every other week or so.
Not sure what's up, but I have to fix it!

right now im kicking myself for not having a rideable bike right now. and while i love this pleasant weather, its going to make my job really crappy until we get another big snowstorm.

Good ride this morning at Yudicky Farm in Nashua. Did my first see-saw (pretty low one... but did it!!). Very tight single track.
Had a good week for that matter
Sun/Mon and Wed at Groton Town Forest, Tues at great brook (trails were pretty good) and today at Yudicky. Trails were either clear or 4 inches of snow.. very strange transitions...
Going on vacation next week so had to get the riding in before I miss it for a week+.
Hope everyone did get out today!!

No riding today, just working, yuck :P
Have MKL Day off, be riding then tho.
Fisherking, did you ride both sides, or just the trail above the pond? Did you see any other tracks out there?

This was my first time there and just did around the pond. Although looking at a GPS from someone else it looks like we missed some more stuff in the middle there. Didn't go the other way yet but want to. It is pretty close to home so I can hit it another time.
No other tracks at all in the snow. Surprised since it seems like a pretty good mix of trials. We did ride a short singletrack on the fields side of the road to get to the other side but I thought there were more out that way?? Is there?

Had a head cold most of the week and called in well yesterday and today. 45 minutes on the road yesterday and 2 hours on the Surly today. Sweet ;D

I gotta get out more. I work from home as well, and with all the frost this morning, I assumed it was cold... til I went to the post office at 3:30 and saw a great day.
ugh! Maybe tomorrow.

I'm also a useless sot with a home office. I did tele-ski Sunday & Monday afternoons, played hockey last night, and went for a walk to check out the ice at the lake this afternoon. Not quite as warm here up north.
I intend to ski-skate-bike this weekend, though.

a......another road ride! The past couple days have been great....nice to off the trainer and on the road. Fun to get the smiles from the drivers, too....you can tell those that ride when they look at you and smile as if to say...."Damn, what am I doing in this car?!". The blinkie and headlight have been getting a good workout!
The woods have been pretty nice this winter...and looks like the re-freeze occurs sunday. Should give tow amazign days on the trails!
Fomba on Sunday...the rock on monday?

There is some more, about the equivalent to what you rode on the pond side. Next time you are thinking of riding there let me know and I'll show around.

another ride!!!!!!!
Man, the riding has been pretty amazing this winter. The trails are clear and firm with patches of ice...the roads are clear and free of most of the salt/sand after the heavy rains earlier this week. Been able to go night riding on the trails, some long road rides during the day.
Looks like good riding for the next couple days, too!
