Today I had to go up to New london NH to pick up the wife and Kids, so I figured to make a stop along the way and ride ,either Harold Parker or FOMBA. so I sent Justbill and email and he oblidged by giving me a Tour (Looks like I could have gotten one of FOMBA too )
any wy , I met up with Justbill at HP and he was ready to go with his super wide rims and studs .
Dam those rims are wide!

We were out a little over 2 hours , could have gone longer except Had to pick up the wife by a certain time so she could get some where by 3. of course she wasn't ready , but thats normal.
when we got back and getting the bike packed up Bill noticed a small problem , oilall over his fron stantion. I guess that means its maintance time !!!

Four of us went out for an ice ride today also. Of course I never pulled the camera out until we had to take a detour to bypass some high water.
Here's Z & Michael trying to get their bikes through the branches. Pete had another method, throwing his bike (almost) all the way across.

My homemade studs work great, if you look closely you can see the tracks in the ice right up the middle.

More images without a fancy page wrapped around them at http://webpages.charter.net/baddna//bike/12-31_ride that show the reroute we built this fall with the disguising of the old trail and if you look closely you can see the cause for the reroute, a big water hole with no drainage.

Got out for a nice ride today in the sebago lake state park.trails were nice and hard and surprisingly fast. No pictures here though as I never think to bring the camera. Maybe tomorrow when we go out will see if I can throw it in. ltr
