Lots of ice in FOMBA land. The fireroads were solid ice. Trails were 10% bare, 40% ice,50% snow.

I would say studs a must.

I agree with you on the studs Peter. Was there yesterday afternoon (1/2)...the ice is now covered with about 1-2 inches of snow.....was compacting/melting quickly. Just a trace of snow today, I'd say it's in great shape!
