Well this is supposed to help others decide were to ride.
So, I was out at the Rock (North of 101) today, and there is some slushy snow on just the trails, and some clear sections. Mostly snow/ice/slush.
It is very ride-able without studs.
There are lotsa wet spots, some that aren't usually there in the spring, so get off and walk around them.
Anybody want to ride NYD?
Let me know,
Dan

Hey Dan,
How is the Rock looking these days? Is it ridable after all the rain we just had recently? Almost went out there yesterday but ended up doing a 10 mile ride around the house here in Raymond on the rail trails and some street. I need to get back in the woods! The rode to me isn't very exciting. Great exercise but not very exciting to me. Hopefully this weather holds up and the trails dry out a bit or freeze so they are all ridable.

Hey Jay,
I went for a hike out there on Thursday, and it is very wet and muddy.
If I were to ride there I would do it early in the morning when the ground is frozen, because it is worse than in the spring right now.
I have a feeling we will pay in April for all this warm weather we are having at the end of January! Mother nature has a proven record of balancing herself out.
I'm up for a road ride tomorrow if anyone is interested?

To bad I didn't know bout the ride earlier. I am doing a hike up to Patuckaway tower with my father and a few friends. I have a feeling its going to be pretty bad in a few areas but I think it'll be ok. That is aslong as they do not back out on me. I am going to be at the park at bout 10 ish at the main parking lot, by the main gate. Will be starting at 10:30 if anyone is interested. It's going to be a slow hike just to get out and do omething so its not going to be fast paced hiking by any means.
So 10-10:30 at the main parking lot @ Patuckaway if anyone is interested. Feel free to give me a call if needed 603-300-0621
