OK its non-biking, but then again hiking is very similar to biking, just without a bike, usually........ ;D

First Day Hikes
Blue Hills Reservation
Sunday , January 1, 2006
Free hot & hearty soup at noon
All hikes begin at 1:00 pm
Meet at the Houghton’s Pond main
parking lot on Hillside Street in Milton.
Take Exit 3 off route 93 and follow First Day signs.
Head for the hills for a
healthy start to the new year!
Join DCR Park Rangers and staff from the Blue Hills Trailside
Museum for FREE First Day Hikes through the Blue Hills
Reservation. Warm up with a free cup of hot and hearty soup
and join a one or two hour trek. Choose the scenic hike to suit
your interest and ability. A stroll around Houghton’s Pond
will be offered for families.
Dress warmly and wear sturdy hiking boots for all hikes.
* Share the goodwill of the season!
Bring a canned good to donate to Father Bill’s Homeless Shelter and ensure a happy and healthy
new year for all!
