Charles River Skate Park

So I just found out they are building a skate park right on the banks of the Charles River! Its going to go right underneath the Leverett Connector! This is very cool. Its going to be huge, and its going to be open 24 hours, and allow bikes (they didn't specifically mention mountain bikes but its not going to be patrolled or anything so I'm sure MTB is AOK. Its pretty much a go too, they now just need to raise some cash and they'll be good to go. You should all donate some cash to the fund, it will be a kick ass place!

I'm sure I'll end up there quite a bit, especially since they are going to leave the lights on 24-7!

They've raised a substantial amount of funds so far, to the tune of $762k.

If only we could raise that for NEMBA every few years we could have some additonal real estate ala Vietnam.
