Anybody have the scoop on precipitation in Foxboro today and what the trail conditions might be?

Well, I'm just up the road in Franklin and it's snowing a ton. I'll guestimate the total for you guys when I go to lunch, and again when I head home tonight. I can tell you that on Thursday AM there was just a thin layer of crunchy snow in Foxboro, so anything that hits today will be it - in other words it won't be adding onto anything significant.
It is pouring rain south of Providence per the ABC6 weather guy. I'm heading to Burlingame (way southern RI) or Big River tommorow AM. I'll also be sure to spot check Lincoln Woods at some point over the weekend. Trail of Tears may not be a bad bet for riding this weekend either.
Here's the weather guy's take on things:
12:00 PM - The coastal front has finally worked its way through Providence, putting an end to the heavy snow. Skies have brightened some, and temps have jumped into the mid 30s. Speaking of jumping temps, Westerly and Block Island are now in the low to mid 40s! Right now, there's heavy precip. in Eastern MA and Central CT. A "dry slot" is moving through right now. It's not unexpected, and should pass by allowing the precip to resume in Providence in the next hour or so. The back edge of the storm will bring gusty northwest winds and more rain/snow through late this afternoon. I think most of us will see rain as the temps have risen to well above freezing. As expected, the storm will be long gone by later this evening, but roads may still be slippery thanks to temps dipping below freezing. The final totals will be close to the forecast (which is always a good thing).
Worcester and NW RI will likely see 8-12". Just northwest of Providence should be in the 4-8" range. Providence and vicinity will be 2-4" and there ain' t much at all south of the city and in SE MA.

I'm near Fall River and it's been raining here since 10 AM. I guess Freetown SF would be another riding option if you don't mind trudging around lots of MX created mud holes.

I haven't been to Freetown in years and I think I've only been there once. I'm still undecided about tomorrow AM, TOT sounds tempting but Burlingame is a lot of fun and I never get down there to ride, except during the winter.
Now it's blowing snow outside, I'm gonna go see how much is out there.

I'd guess it's at 6". I just went out to get a jump on clearing the car and checked the snowfall on some grassy areas. It's very wet and heavy, if it was fluffy snow I'm sure it would be a higher total. It was thundering while I was outside - pretty cool. I've only experienced that a few times.

It's been a mix most of the day in Middleboro. It's snowing like a bastard now with thunder. Just a couple of inches of slush/snow/ice right now. (2:30pm)

Based on the above comments about RI - I assume Arcadia is probably just wet at this point? Perhaps I'll head down there, my reports are that there's plenty of snow even in southern CT.

I don't know Jisch, anything is possible with this storm. I think before going to Burlingame I'm going to hit Big River but I'm not super optimistic about that area - per weather.com it just changed to all snow in that area. It looks like it'll be a crapshoot. There's always Bluff Point, it looked like it rained down there all day.
