NAM and Quads

Anyone else notice this lately?

So friday, 4-Nov, i rode Nam with a friend and there was a section thats used to be really nice single track that had at least a dozen small trees that were mauled and nocked over by someone on a quad. Needless to say, i was a bit dissapointed, but didnt know if i should be pissed. Dont know how big the NEMBA land is and if quads have any place out there, destroying the trails. >:(

PLEASE NOTE, im not anti dirt bike, i just personally had to clean up the trail after this persons mess.

I've seen quads over on the railbed by 85 and on the Conservation land over there but not on any of the singletrack near the powerlines. Where exactly was this damage?

so i found the destruction on about a 200yard area of either the trail marked as 1 or 2. its tough to tell from my gps tracks. you may know better, it has the cliff that runs along the trail. i had to clear a dozen 15 - 10 ft trees 2-3" diameter trees that were literally across the trails from a quad zig zagging and running over the trees. I also added area 3, which could be the origin of the quad. i see a lot of tracks in that area.
