Montague Plains Cleanup Oct 1

As part of the Ct River Watershed 'source to the sea' cleanup, BigMAC and I - representing PVNEMBA - joined a huge group of volunteers hauling trash from many sites on the Plains. The area is mostly state land, but is very accessible and a popular place for DIY contractors to dispose of construction and automotive debris. Two large dumpsters were filled with trash and several piles of tires and scrap metal created.

The plains has many miles of beginner & intermediate XC trails and is an awesome winter riding venue.

Yes and after all that work, not 1 week later.. I see people have been dumping out there already.

people in-general piss me off... all the work that we and all other volenteeres did that day , well it looks like it was not done at all there is crap everywhere agian.
