They found EEE in mosquitos in Holliston, MA so be careful if you're riding Nam or the surrounding areas. Wear Deet.

What do you mean, gnurider? Symptom-wise or media-attention-wise?

Anyway, EEE is nasty:

An estimated third of the people who survive have neurologic deficits. If you bike in an endemic area, DEET and long sleeved clothing go a long way.

i mean it media-attention-wise. i heard from my dad that the risk of getting EEE is about the same as the risk of getting west nile virus and i dont remember an outbreak of west nile virus in mass the past few years. plus what about the effects of all of the spraying that will be evident in a few years? if it kills mosquitos, then it sure isnt good for us. just my $.02.

The problem with EEE is that you either die or at least suffer a LOT, and sometimes never fully recover. With West Nile, you can be sick and not even know it, since the symptoms are usually far milder. EEE is a whole nother fish.
