Maybe pk decided this forum needed a good cleansing and a fresh start.

Err, or maybe you did what I did, and clicked on this new forum thinking you were in "Off the Bike" and then wondered where all the posts went.

Maybe they needed the server space? I would like to believe that pk would at least provide an explanation, Not that it's any big deal. Most of the recent stuff on there was regurgitated blather anyhow.

Maybe it was the Ramones comment. Sorry, I stand by it. Ugliest and worst band of all time.

I saw that the "New Post" icon was on and just clicked on it thinking that it was the "Off The Bike" forum. I went back and looked to see that PK started a new forum.

I think its a good idea.

Oh, I just noticed the new forum name. I guess that explains it. Maybe now there will be no more whining from the dummies who couldn't get past there being anything but bike related threads happening. "Off The Bike" was too confusing for some, I imagine.

Maybe I'll start a new "Favorite Cheeses" thread in Off The Bike with pics and all.

Probably just so people don't get too carried away with stuff, like trolling and/or profanity, neither of which have ever been much of a problem here.

Still, I cannot help but chuckle inside knowing that there are some regulars on these forums who will scoff at this new forum; because now it looks like we are being encouraged to spew even more drivel!

Well... here's to the drivel! (My lame attempt at a drink glass notwithstanding)

Never fear! We want to PROMOTE your discussions by providing a dedicated space for them.

As you know, I'm the "global moderator" for all the forums, and as you also know, my philospophy is to use a very light hand and let you all moderate yourself. I didn't ask our web guru to list me as moderator for the Politics forum and I may ask him to remove that statement.
