Mt.A TODD

Hey,
This Sunday September 11th is a trailwork day at Mt. Agamenticus in Southern Maine!
... This one is especially important to attend, we need some support.
Recently there has been some discussion going on with the Land Manager about her desires to close some of the old trails Second Hill. Also an old favorite "Heart Attack Hill" off Mountain Road at the cliff hairpin turn, has just been CLOSED by the trail crew due to reasons unexplainable, and unacceptable to me. Local riders in the area and people who like to visit really should get involved so that we have a loud unified response that can provide positive solutions to these proposed trail closers to bikes.
A great way to show our strength and commitment as well as get the first hand scoop on these recent changes is to show up and help out on Sunday.
We will be meeting at the Summit of Mt.A. 9am.
Go to he old horse stables, not the lodge, and look for the Nemba tent. We will be working on lower portions of Second Hill near Scarecrow Junction. Also we may have a crew working on Chestnut Oak building some berms near the top depending on turnout. Please pack a lunch and bring water, we will be hiking in a bit, so wear work shoes. We've got the tools, you bring the muscle.
As always we will go out for a ride in the afternoon so bring your bike. Some guys are thinking about riding early...7am at the bottom?? I'll be in bed.
Thanks,
Todd Bumen
