North Shore of MA, that is. I have ridden in a lot of places, but this may be the most fun trail network I have ever been on. Consequently, I took few pics. Oh well, maybe next time.

Toddski on the take off ramp. Pull up Todd!

Z on a very long and steep roll, which the pic does not do justice.

oh man what happened? Where did you park? You guys can park at my house anytime. I've got tons of room in the back yard.

Tally's sucks!

Oh man what a crappy way to end a great day of riding! we went to exit 14 and and pulled onto Forest Ave for a quick ride and a beer by the reservoir. we were gone for 1 hour, when we came back my car was gone and rob and Z's were hooked up and on the way out. THERE WERE NO SIGNS stating that we were not allowed to park in the parking lot! I thought it was very suspicious that there was a fleet of flatbeds towing us within minutes of writing the ticket, and wanted to talk to the police officer. The slimy cop showed up, Rob and Pete pretty much verbally laided into the cop, causing him to get pissed off and yell back, leaving without a good explanation of how he could justifiably write a ticket or why it was so imperative to tow our vehicles which were not blocking or obstructing anything, we were left standing dumbfounded in the twilight zone. So Rob drove me to Gloucester so I could reclaim my car after shelling out $110. bucks to the tow truck company, I suspect a portion of that will find its way into the pockets of the crooked cop in this tow truck scam. I am not paying the $15. dollar parking ticket and calling the police dept tomorrow to tell them why.

Toddski, that cop has been pissed off since 1st grade when all the other kids picked on him.

That ride was easily worth $100+, IMO. Hell, some people fly all the way to Vancouver to ride stuff almost as good.

That photo of us watching the tow trucks (bright orange ticket in my hand) is a classic! It makes me laugh despite all the pain and aggravation.

What's really sad is that Gloucester is paying this cop to patrol this totally unimportant street, instead of keeping the streets safe, so he can go "hunting" for his kick-backs. It's such a clear scam. There are "no parking" signs all the way down the beginning and end of the street; we were about to turn around, except for this beautiful 100 yard stretch, no signs at all, where there is a big dirt pullout and garbage can. (All that was missing were welcome signs and a sausage cart!) We couldn't have been there more than 15 minutes before the cop was there, writing the ticket and calling his buddies at Tally's. >:( I've never seen a car towed that fast, you'd think we were blocking a handicap spot or something.

So, sorry guys, welcome to Massachusetts...

Wow... compare that to a couple years ago in Calgary, when we didn't notice the "no parking 4-6PM signs" We came running out to the tow truck about to pull away with our rental car, but we convinced him to put our car back down in sympathy! Or another time, a friend of mine was parked in Montreal during a snow emergency. His car was towed. Just around the corner. For no charge, while they plowed the streets!

That's it, I'm moving to Canada! :)
