I live in Marblehead and need to rent a bike for a friend that is coming into town over Labor Day weekend... can anyone recommend somewhere on the North Shore or around Boston to rent a decent mountain bike, please?

Cycle Loft in Burlington usually has some demo bikes...

I need a rental for my wife for NEMBA fest (we are going on a trip the week of labor day & her bike wont be back in time). I called cycle loft & the guy told me that the demo bikes are for people to use that are interested in buying only.

Bikeway source in Bedford has a rental fleet, decent bikes in all sizes.

No NEMBA MEMBAs have a second or a third bike for loan to another member in the Marblehead area?

Wow, that would be great if I could rent one from someone for the weekend but these things are so expensive that I would hate to break something... my friend lives in UT and mountain bikes all the time... he is very experienced if anyone wanted to rent a dual suspension to me... he is 6'3" though....
