well, since I was in new hampshire for a week I figured I'd see how the local singletrack was, so I went on a hunt for the trail "sticks, and stones". It took a while to find how to get to it, but joe jones showed me the way. It's a great trail, and only minutes from the center of town. The granite obsticals are very well built, and the trail has great flow. Kudos to those who built it. Sorry, no pics.

Thanks Geoff! We had quite a few people help build the trail, and we plan to get more granite slabs in place for trannies off a few more boulders. I'm also hoping to expand the trail to double the length, but not this year.

There are a few photos of the work in progress on Sticks & Stones here: http://www.nemba.org/yabbse/index.php?board=9;action=display;threadid=5292

Some trailbuilders just need to be in a different location within the state, which is the case in this instance. I'm thinking that Central New Hampshire has enough stones to intrigue the most picky of trail designers but you'd have to be some type of engineer to put the pieces together. ::)
