Last night I wanted to go for a ride, so I grabbed my bike to put it in the car. As soon as I picked it up, the front wheel fell off. :o
From what I can gather, I broke the skewer on my last ride, but not quite completely through. The tiny little bounce I put on the bike by picking it up did it in. I just can't figure out why it did not let go as I was riding? ??? If it had I would have been in big trouble as the last thing I did was the lower lookouts trail in the Wendel State Forest, then a quick drop to the parking lot at a really good clip down the paved road.
So this post is just to say that I am glad to be alive today. ;D
Anybody got a spare $3000 so I can get my new bike sooner?
