Ah--when the the stars align, and the summer weather is perfect, and the trails in good shape and hundreds of eager bikers set out on an adventure in a lovely State Forest, and the beer flows plentifully with the cheese burgers-it just makes me smile. Good show everyone who came out, kicked in your donations and rode wendell. We've pretty much guaranteed our long-term relationship with this 8000 acre forest and more single track is on tap for the fall and spring--come out and enjoy it again.
Special thanks to harold Green and Big Mark Courtemanche for all the early hour hard work, planning, promotion etc. And to PK for coming out and running a tight ship and bank rolling the affair, and of course to el presidente George Willard-our trail Yoda (Flow your Trails have not but many Punji-stumps there are)-seriously, financial and knowledge support has been plentiful and timely from our head honcho--PVNEMBA is lucky to have him. Hope you all had fun.
And yes, I know, I know--it's a right turn out of the parking lot--sorry, about that! Hope you all made it out for cheap Harpoon beer anyway (it seemed like most of you did!).
