Well, the wife finally figured out that I haven't been riding the new bike I had to have last year.
(GF Cake 2 dlx).
I almost exclusively ride the converted SS Trek HT.
So.......
I have been missing the squish in the back.
I admit, I have a Singlespeed problem, what is that, step 3?
It passed the wheelie tests, and the down a few stair test tonight.
Tomorrow morning, FOMBA will be testing it.
I figure this will keep back those urges to buy the GF Rig for a while.
It only took 3 Red Hood ESB's to complete the conversion!
;)
Disclamer: No geared bike parts were harmed during this conversion.

Rode FOMBA today, 5" travel in the front and rear feels like a little overkill for a SS.
It was kinda neat to just sit and plow over everything.

The SPV in the back was a big reason I bought the bike, climbs well.
More testing at lunch.....
......I'm getting used to sitting and pedaling over rough stuff
I like it better without gears.

well having a brother with a problem is something i never thought would happen but now i'm in the mist of building a ss. he has roped me in, its an old haro v-4s (about 10 yrs old, my first real bike, lol) we should finish it tonight. We switched the brakes around british style just to make it a lil different. i'm sure pix will follow.
