Looking for weekend group road rides...

I am looking to hook up with some group road rides on the weekend. I have found plenty midweek after work rides but my schedule tends to have me leaving the office long after these rides have gotten underway. Can anyone suggest any group road rides in Connecticut hat meet on the weekend? Thanks, Dave

In Fairfield County, you could try the Sound Cyclists. I rode with them once when I was down from MA for the weekend. I didn't have much fun because they were a bunch of hammerheads who dropped me and I got lost, but YMMV. Interestingly, I saw some of them on a century later when they blew past me in a paceline. When I rolled into the water stop at 25 miles, they were all sitting around looking completely fried. I left them there, and awhile later they blew by me again. Same story every 25 miles at the water stops. Not sure if they actually beat me to the finish. Those guys seem to have only one speed.
