All,
I am pulling the plug on the boogie. The State of NH Parks and Recreation haven’t got back to me with approval for the July 3rd or the August 14 date. I left a message with them today letting them know and will follow up tomorrow.
But it is not a State of NH issue, in all actuality it is my fault, I didn’t drive it and keep pushing it along and I feel bad for having let our chapter down. Everyone has done such a great job supporting it in the past and clearly enjoy putting it on it's a shame I didn’t make more time to pull together the approvals.

I sincerely apologize for everything that led up to the cancellation of the event.

That stinks Lenny, but I think you are being too hard on yourself.

"I think you are being too hard on yourself."

I agree. Only a handful of people know how much work goes on behind the scene to put on an event like this. Meanwhile the bills need to be paid, the grass needs to be cut, the family needs their quality time, and you try to squeeze in a ride here and there. I think Len's track record is well established.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it, but still feel bad about having to pull the plug. It is a fun event to pull together and the reponses are always positive.

I spoke with our chapter president and we have a plan to obtain permission for next years event so we wont be surprised again.

Happy trails!
