Hello, first post here. Couple questions:
1. I need to buy a bike rack that'll fit on a trailer hitch. Thule has been strongly recommended. Where's the best place (ie: good service & good prices) for me to buy one?
2. Where is the best place to have my bike tuned up?? I haven't been on it in 2 years and I'm honestly not very familiar w/ bike maintenance. I'm in Newton, NH (right next to Haverhill & Plaistow). A local search turned up Exeter Cycles in Exeter & Buchikas in Haverhill. Who has the best rep and won't try to take advantage of a neophyte who just wants to get on his bike & ride?
Any info is helpful.

I've had great service at the bike shop in Topsfield. A little south but easy to get too from NH.

If your looking for low prices, good luck. My experience is that most LBS charge MSRP unless it is dated. Best deals are always online.
As for service, Buchika's is a good shop. They were always helpful for me when I as in the area.
I had less happy experiences with the guys up the street.
Also, Naults in Nashua seem prerty good, but less experience with them so far.

Nah, Naults hasn't been the same since it changed hands!
Souhegan cycleworks in Milford best in the area!

Another vote for Wheel Power in Exeter, they have been long time supports of the Seacoast NEMBA Chapter and the guys who own the shop also wrench. Good folks. http://www.wheelpowerbicycle.com/contactinfo.html
Although I have never had any work done at Exeter Cycles the people there have been strong SNEMBA supporters and very good to deal with. I have heard very good things about their service as well.
Both will treat you right on the service. Not sure how competitive they are on bike racks. Tough for the little shops to compete with online prices but both will support you if there are any issues.
I dont think you can go wrong taking the bike to Exeter, both shops have excellent reputations.
Happy trails!
