White Mountains NEMBA hosts its fifth annual White Mountains MTB Weekend August 19-21. And this year we also have some action on tap for FREERIDERS! Join us for another great weekend of riding, camping, swimming, and partying.

If you're into cross-country, join us in the Rob Brook area off the Kancamagus both days; there will be marked ride loops of all abilities on Sunday (for more info on the MBAS rides see http://www.mtbadventureseries.org ). If you like freeriding and downhilling, help us work on some cool trails Saturday at Attitash (http://www.attitash.com ), and then get a free lift ticket the next day (there will be limited space for this portion). We'll all be hanging out and camping together Saturday afternoon and evening at a private camping area along the Swift River.

GEAR: Helmets are mandatory for riding. Armor is highly recommended for Attitash. Be prepared for warm or cold weather! We'll have a couple of grills available Saturday, but otherwise, please plan to be self-sufficient with your own camping and cooking equipment.

COST: In return for a fun weekend, we simply ask that you do a little trailbuilding and maintenance Saturday morning (although donations are always welcome)! For those that can only come for the riding Sunday, lift tickets are $29 and the MBAS ride is $15 or $10 for NEMBA members.

To get on the evite list, please send a private message to Krisztina Holly ("Z" on these forums) or me.

I won't mince words. I have no money, not even for gas.
If you happen to have a truck with a 2" receiver and tow package then I have a pop up camper i would share. Hot shower built in.
Hey Bill... remember the good'ol days when we just slept in tents and ate hot dogs on a stick? ...ok maybe it was a spicy corn chowda and slow roasted pork fajitas, washed down with mojito smoothies, but my point is do you really need the camper for this adventure?

At any rate, I hope you can make it. I need some "fire jumping" training!

Rob, whats the Kanc ride gonna look like this year? Milage? Terrain? I'm trying to figure out what kind of suspension to bring up there. Will you be hanging out there or will you be at Attitash?

I'm going to do the downhill on my 4" FS bike. Its not the right tool for the job, but I figure I'll give 'er a shot.

Hey Norm I think Rob is doing Atittash all weekend. I am too, but also bringing the single speed up for some xc action and campout hijinks.

I will be working & riding at Attitash, but will be doing some kind of XC ride from Rob Brook on Sat. afternoon.

I would recommend the Slayer (that's what I'm bringing) - lots of roots, about 23 miles total with hero loops)
