NSNEMBA will conduct some routine drainage and treadway improvements and
some cutback in the Bald Hill area, in Boxford State Forest and on Essex
County Greenbelt land. Some time will be spent evaluating additional
projects that might take place in the fall.
When: Saturday June 18 8:30AM
Where: Meet at Wunnegen trailhead and parking, Crooked Pond Drive,
Boxford MA. map - http://tinyurl.com/cwzsa Rt 95 to Endicott Road exit.
Head west and take the first right on to Middleton Rd., left on Moonpenny,
right on Crooked Pond to gravel parking area on right.
After some snacks (bagels, cookies, fruit) and drinks, a ride will follow.
Tools provided but your loppers, pick mattock, etc. welcome. Long pants,
boots, gloves, bug dope recommended.
Please contact me if you are likely to show so I have some idea of parking
needs (lot is limited in size) and so I can contact you if there is some
change in plan (conservation approvals will hopefully be granted tonight).
Keep in mind this is the last scheduled trail care day for NSNEMBA until
September. Also, this is a MERLIN/NEMBA Trail Care Series event so your
participation gives you a raffle chance to win a great Merlin bike later in
the year.
