Not sure where to put this so I guess it's General.

My Girlfriend, my dog, and my self are going to Williamstown for a long weekend.
Does anybody know of any Semi-easy riding areas? She did well at Great Brook last week but is still intimidated by the rocky-rooty stuff, and neither of us would really enjoy climbing straight up Mt. Greylock.
Anywhere around there will do (We are planning an hour's drive to Stockbridge one day) as long as it's big enough to let the dog off the leash.

All advice appreciated.

Hey Truckboy --

Go to Google and under search put in Williamstown, MA and mountain biking. It will bring you to a listing of different trails in that area. It is under a website called "trails.com", but when I try to plug that directly into the url it doesn't come up for some reason. I can only get into it by doing the search thing. Have fun!

If you are going to stockbride ,stop at the Arcadian shop on rt 7 in Lenox . You can access Kenn edy Park and Yokun Ridge from theparking lot and get maps inside. Harry

Kennedy Park would be a good place for you. It's fairly tame, and you can get a map from and park at the Arcadian shop. There's a mix of singletrack and old carriage roads. It's on Rte. 20 just North of Lenox on your left as you head North.
