Last Saturday was National Trails Day, and I think NEMBA participated in 10 events. We'll try to get pics up.
The GB one was outstanding.

WOW :o
That looks like a great job, now the new trail isn't an out and back.
Great work.

My dog worked real hard Saturday just so I could enjoy that trail and boardwalk. He doesn't even ride!

Great to have Jim there. Very enthusiastic. Seems to be pleased that you and Stork don't kill him on your rides! ;D

Impressive project, that is a lot of work! Great job!
AA, how about some details on that foundation rammer? It looks shiny like aluminum, but I'm assuming it was steel? And since you're pounding on the top of it, was the top plate thicker than the sides?

I tried scrounging up enough steel for the "post thumper" but came up short, All I had to work with was aluminum. The piece on the top is 1" thick and the pieces on the sides are 1/2" thick. It was plenty heavy to drive the posts into the mush.

Wow, all built in one day - that's great. That's especially tough considering the worksite was under water/mud.
How 'bout them bugs!

When some of us went there early evening a few days before, there were about six bazilllion hungry mosquitos.
In freakout mode, AA bought 30 mosquito hats... thinking the worst. But for some reason, they kept at bay during the day, and I don't think I was bit once!
