Skills Series 2005
Clinic #3
June 11, Saturday, 3pm
FOMBA Trails at lake Massabesic in Auburn, New Hampshire
Meet at the Depot Road Lot.
Directions
State hiway 101 east exit 2 , right at ramp. 1.5 miles over rise in road left onto Depot road. Parking area on left trail network is across the road.
Helmets and a working bike are all that are required.
This is a beginner’s clinic. The goal will be on developing strong basic skills, building confidence, and having fun. Mostly having fun. Each park we visit provides challenges unique to the terrain. Fomba challenges us with tight singletrack and switchbacks. We will focus the training to best take advantage of these features. Yes, the log roll is in.

i'm thinking of coming but i might be late.
If so, where can i find you?
We will be in the field there for about 30-45min before heading out on the ride. After that just follow the screaming.

Cool, any interested people could do everything that NEMBA stands for and is about, all within 25 miles of each other!
Trail maintenance and riding of course.
Re-route at Fort Rock in Exeter (http://www.nemba.org/yabbse/index.php?board=17;action=display;threadid=6614), exit 10 off 101, rt 85 south, take your first right (just before the train trestle), up to the parking lot.
Meet at 8am, to help strengthen the bond between land managers and mtber's.
Then, you could head west for the great event put on by BB-breaker-justbill.
Wahoo!

AOF,
Dont you have a thread for your trail maintenance day already. Is it not getting as many hits as mine? :'(
I encourage all the Skills Series Riders to get over and join AOF on the trail maintenance, see the difficult stuff over at the Rock. It will make what we are learning on seem really tame.
Hope that helps. ;D

Bill, with your clinic how much riding is involved on the trails? I'm thinking maybe if I ride for an hour or so before the clinic or after this will be me a couple hours on the bike?
clinic rides go till everyone has had enough, but with lots of stops for do overs and skill drills along the trail obsticles.
normal duration is about 3hrs start to finish

Thanks justbill!
Just trying to offend the most people as possible with the same stupid comment. Eventually someone will get the joke, wont they?
perhaps not
I'll stop now.
Sorry

You are both very welcome of course.
mildly interesting side note
That woman there named Lynnete. Her last name is Wood.
So every ride she's on is a Lynn Wood's ride.
