As a part of the National Trails Day Celebration at Bradley Palmer State Park, North Shore NEMBA will be continuing the work we started last year. The main focus is improving drainage on existing trails to prevent further erosion. This is a Merlin/NEMBA Trail Care Series event with each participant receiving a chance to win a bike in a raffle at the end of the season.

The NTD Celebration is a great family event with a number of activities and fun things to do – walks, Smokey the Bear, hayrides, music, bike rides. See flyer here: http://tinyurl.com/7v792

Essex County Velo will also be there with a kid’s bike race and a cross ride. A free lunch of hot dogs, chips, and sodas for all! Mountain bike ride at 1PM for varied abilities.

When: Saturday June 4, 8:30 AM

Where: Main parking area at BPSP off Asbury St. From north or south, take Rte. 1 to Topsfield, east on Ipswich Rd., right on Asbury St. to park entrance.

Bring: Gloves, eye protection, bug spray. Lots of tools provided, but you
have a favorite mattock, McLeod, or shovel, please bring them.

Weather - Only a very heavy rain will cancel the trail work. Call if questionable.

Contact - Dan Streeter danstreeter@comcast.net cell 978-618-8596
