View Full Version : Vietnam ride today (Sunday/5/29)

Thanks to the great bunch that went on the ride today. It was nice to put faces to the names. Of course, I'll probably forget half of the names,but I'll plead old age. ::)
I made the regulars live up to their motto of " nobody gets left behind",and they made me feel good because they didn't seem to mind hanging back. I had a great time, and I guaranteee I'll get back and do better by the end of summer.
BTW, I'm for rent if anyone wants someone to go on a ride just to make other people feel better. ;D

It was nice to meet you and the rest of the group. Sorry I had to bail at the end. I only took a couple pics and here they are...

I hope B2B's wife isn't too sore after her endos.

It was a great time, Tami is a bit sore :'( she cleaned her cut on her arm out and took a Hot bath without me :'( I had to go get the boys from grandmas across the damn state ::). Again it was a great time.

I'll ride anytime with ya bud slow and easy is not a problem. If we can get a babysitter on another weekend me and Tami will meet you up at borderland.

I had a great Time , and More importantly (to Me :D ) is my son had a great time too!

I must give a Big thenks to IF_rider for palying sweep , helped me out a great deal!

But here i Have a Few Pics too! IU didn't take as many As usualt I was too busy running back and forth between the front andthe back.

any way Just Riding along on a Sunny beutiful day , and things are Green Finally !

ANd Kudos Go out out B2B's Wife, how she kept going on after taking a couple of good spills . and My son took a good one too! and They were so rude as to do it when Nobay had cameras out !


and fianlly , when we got back my Son wanted to have his Muddy Picture taken with a Muddy RIP , the 2 of them were having a good time going back and forth through a Mud Puddle on the Power line access road while some of us Played on Little Moab.

that drop looks entirely different with the leaves and stuff on all the trees there. i only recognized it because of the color dirt thats on the tranny.

Looks like a blast. Wish I had My bike finished I would have like to have gone. Maybe if theres a Thursday evening ride I swing down. Going to finish my bike tomorrow..

This was a great ride, with new and old (no offence Huff) friends. Since I've started taking video, I don't get out my still camera anymore.

It was great meeting Body2big and his wife. I think that she will be back on the bike soon, just that she'll want to ride tamer terrain. First day on a mountain bike, and she tackles Vietnam. She rules.

I think his name was Derek and he did the whole ride on a SS. He had skillz for sure.

Thanks to everyone on this ride especially splat who sent me the info last minute. it was good to meet everyone I had fun riding and seeing vietnam ..I hope to do it again when I have some more lung power... and yes that is derek on the SS .. I will have to try and hookup on one of those night rides but I am not sure if I can keep up..

I must say my thanks as well the ride was great and the freinds new and old that were made was just as good.
