Oh wait... now I know what your talking about.

This ball of burning gas was also seen in Westfield MA in the eastern sky. My theory is this gas will superheat New England, making a hot weekend.

Quickly, head north before your skin burns off!!! We still have our protective dark grey cloud cover up here.

Our skin will still be pale & pasty with flecks of mildew for a while.

No, no, no. I'm a frequent visitor to the electric beach.

Anyway, my friend said the sun hit him in the face this morning while he was sleeping and it felf so weird he thought his house was on fire.

Still no sightings here in Portland, although some of the streets appear to be dry. Gives a whole new meaning when someone tells you to " put it where the sun don't shine”. That could be all of New England.

no sun down here, but it poured last night. My skin has grown slimey and I have found I can now breathe underwater.

I see wet people. They walk around like everyone else, and they don't even know that they're wet.

;D Funny stuff.

How about this:
Left the house, with a glipse of the sun. Thinking ... it's gonna be a nice day. Get to work 2 miles away to find the power is out in the whole building and the sun is gone.

As an IT person, a 2 hour power outage means "forget anything else you were going to do today". Gets crazy.

Power is back, and by golly it looks like rain outside.
Phew ... things are back to normal. ;)

I too was confused and using Google I came across this unknown image...

But thankfully it appears the ocean is putting it out..so the danger to the Earth has abated..

I was about knocked over by solar glare when I walked into the kitchen this morning. Here at work (Franklin) it's back to normal, grey and nasty. The Sun tricked me into riding last night, it poked through my skylight at 5:30. Then I rode on the road in pouring rain for 90 minutes. Evil, evil orb, you trick me for last time!! >:(

First person to complain about the heat this summer gets an open-handed slap in the mouth.

Didn't we have forest fire warnings two months ago? wtf?

What have we done to anger the Gods? We need to sacrifice Titanium and Carbon Fiber to appease them and bring back the rains!

I finally got out for a ride yesterday afternoon for the first time in like 7 days. I don't know who was happier that I was out biking, me or the mosquitoes.

I was also so covered in gypsy moth caterpillars by the end of the ride, I looked like some bad horror movie.
