Why do people do anything? If they didn't choose to live in these places, it would mean that more many cars during rush hour, longer lines at the supermarket, more people on the trails. Whatever the reason, let's just be glad that they spread it around. It's all good.

i wonder if there are any good trails up there that are dry this time of year. can you imagine being able to ride whenever you feel like it? sounds pretty sweet to me.

330 miles above the artic circle? There are no trees there. All you get is scrub and tundra.
I lived in England for 3 years, the weirdest thing to get used to is not getting dark until 10 at night during the summer. The down side is that it gets dark at 2 in the afternoon during the winter.

Daylight is awesome yes...can't deny that. BUT as a whole,....isn't most of our population inside working/watching tv/stuffing there face at a fast food restaurant during the day anyways? Wouldn't want to be outside in that non-AC you know.
Honestly, why would i want to live in Alaska? The big one would be to get the F away from People. Possibly live a nice slow paced life on your own terms. Not to mention i bet you could buy more then a 1/4 acre for $250,000 ::)
