I'm curious if anybody here has any experience with the TempurPedic foam mattress. I tried one out, at the store, this weekend and wasn't sure what to make of it. Seemed much stiffer than I expected. Also I wonder if that foam feels kind of warm on a hot summer night. I did like the fact that the mattress was flat right out to the edges giving you a bigger sleeping surface.

Why spend thousands on a Tempurpedic mattress when you can get a Bob-o-pedic mattress for just $999?
I don't know about anybody else, but I'm about this close to hiring a hitman to run down the Bob's Discount Furniture guy so I don't have to see any more of his annoying goddamned commercials.

I don't know about the mattress, but an ex-boyfriend had a pillow made of that stuff and we used to fight over it. It was pretty sweet.

I'd rather hear about the bob-o-pedic 24/7 than just one Bernie & Phil ad.....

We bought something akin to what you're talking about from Sleepright. I think they called it "eurofoam", and I think the generic term is memory foam. We love it. I have back problems and she has a tender shoulder blade thing. It's firm enough for me and soft enough for her. Just right Goldilocks.
How come you guys aren't talking about how extra-annoying Bob's lady friend ("That's right Bob, real Pine") is or the fact that you can't tell if Bernie is short for Bernard or Bernadette or Phil is short for Phillip or Phyllis? Are they a married couple or brothers?

I made the mistake of buying Bob's version, and it stopped rebounding after a few months. I was sleeping in a hollow that would make a nice jump if t was on a trail.
We made them take it back, and got full credit toward the newer, latex-based foam. That one works good, rebounds fully when you get off, but a little more slowly than would be ideal. I do sleep comfortably all night, though.
Now, when new, the memory foam was better. I don't know if the lack of memory over time was specific to Bob's version or not. I do know the latex version is very good and seems to be reliable for the long term.

What is it about furniture peddlers? None are witty and all are annoying. Those Jordans Furniture asspokes started it all with their feeble attempts at comedic salesmanship. Then the Cardi's guys basically cloning the Jordans. Then Bernie and Phils. And now Bob and his wince inducing sidekick. Do they not all know that we don't need to see them to know what they sell?!?! Where did this start? No doubt with some idiot car dealership. The friggin Pride Car guy!!! yea.. maybe the hitman has to take him out first. Abso-*******-lutely.
A good friend of mine just got the tempurpedic. She says she has never slept better. I'm definitely going to get one of the pillows that are designed for side sleepers. I tried hers and almost fell asleep just testing it out.
