There are two great events happening this Sunday in the Boston Area.
NEMBA and the DCR are sponsoring the Blue Hills Mountain Bike Day. This event is free of charge and is always a blast. The event starts at 10am and goes until 3pm. To get there, take exit 3 off Route 93 in Milton and then follow the signs to MTB Day parking lots. For more information contact Joe Sloane at jgsloane@netway.com.
The other event is a maintenance day at the Middlesex Fells Reservation. This event is also free of charge;) and much fun will be had by all. We will be meeting promptly at 8:30am at Gate 9 off South Border Road and will be working on a small section of singletrack. Bring gloves, water and wear long pants. We will provide all the tools and instruction you need. We plan to work until 12:30pm but nobody will be penalized if they leave early to go to the Blue Hills Event. In fact, we would like to encourage everybody to finish up and head over to Blue Hills so no post workday ride or lunch will be scheduled. The workday will be held rain or shine. For more information contact Tom Grimble at tg@gbnemba.org.
What could be better then a whole day of mountain bike activities.
