Looks like a pretty good component set. The frame is new so I don't think many people have had a chance to review it, but check out mtbr.com and see what you find. Cannondale people LOVE their Cannondales. There'sa guy named vothrock at ragemtb.com's forums who just got a Prophet this season. Mybe you should send him a PM over there.

Here is the link to the bike for anyone who wants to see it.

Whats the cost of it? I was looking at some TREK full suspensions today. I have a new TREK 6500 Hardtail right now.

it goes for 1600, which is a pretty good price, you may be able to get a deal on one, because so many shops have them, it could get compeditive. I've seen two or three at the rei in hingham, and one at the bicycle link.
Also, you could get an ironhorse mkIII comp for 1600 at super go. 1600, is a great deal on the mkIII, considering the parts spec.

I test rode the 600 and the 800. The fork is ultra plush and not flexy. The bike has a bit long but stable feel. I would go for the 800 because of the adjustable fork (compression and rebound) and the hydraulic disc brakes. It weighs 32 pounds so if you are looking for a light bike this may not be the ride. The higher end models do get lighter but the cost goes WAY up.

Overall I liked the bike.
