A bit of a plug here from a fellow NEMBA'er.

This weekend, May 7th and 8th, the Photographic Resource Center, of which I am the Executive Director, is hosting its 13th annual Mother's Day Portrait Extravaganza.

Featuring some of the area's top photographers, all of whom have volunteered their time, the event offers family, friends, anyone (including pets) the opportunity to sit for a unique portrait at a fraction of what these photographers would normally charge. Studios are set up at six Boston-area locations and plenty of reservations are still available.

Hold off on upgrading to that XTR derailleur and make your (wife)(mother)(daughter)(friend)(pet) happy! All proceeds benefit the Photographic Resource Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to photographic education and presentation.

Visit www.prcboston.org for details.
Call 617-975-0600 for reservations.

Thanks,
Terrence

Wow. That's a really nice idea. I almost wish I hadn't asked my son for Tom Petty tickets.

It is a lot of fun and supports a good cause. Have fun at the Petty concert and thank you for bumping this thread above the angry Lexington-ite thread!

No problem -- I'll do it again! I think it's awesome. Actually, I'd like to have a portrait done with my 2 daughters and myself some day -- no offense to my son.

We'll see if I actually get the Petty tickets. I think he's been spending his money on other "things."
